Since June, we’ve been preparing this exciting update, and with our ILPRA Energy sealing machine up and running, Sweet Pea meals now come in sealed, eco-friendly trays with an extended refrigerated shelf life of up to 10 days for optimal freshness—though they remain safe to enjoy even beyond that.

How to Dispose of the Tray:

1. Take note of the heating instructions on the label before removing the top seal.
2. Remove the top seal completely, then heat your meal directly in the microwave-safe tray and enjoy!
3. Once you’ve finished eating or removed the food from the tray, peel off the bottom film layer—this acts as a barrier between the food and the compostable container to prevent sogginess and is microwave-safe but not compostable.
4. Dispose of the film layer in the trash.
5. Recycle or compost the tray for an eco-friendly finish.
